To drive the growth of our members by making Spanish a competitive advantage: training, connections and representation in their own language, and open doors so Latino talent takes part in the spaces where opportunities are created.
Why we exist
Why was CALA born?
CALA was born to answer a need among Latino business owners and entrepreneurs in Texas: to have a Chamber of Commerce where they can connect, join forces, get trained and grow in their own language.
We created a space that brings the Latino business community together, opens access to training in key areas — finance, accounting, taxes, business registration and development — and fosters commercial connections among its members.
We are also building a network and directory of Latino businesses so we can get to know each other, refer each other, do business and grow together.
And we believe that growing also means serving. That is why we bring together the talent, resources and efforts of our business owners and entrepreneurs to develop initiatives that contribute to, strengthen and create a positive impact in our community.
Because when we connect our businesses, we all move forward.

That is why here Spanish is not a courtesy translation: it is our voice, our meeting point and our operating language.
