Education

A path, not scattered workshops.

CALA's training is organized by the stage your business is in, so each workshop is the next step and not an isolated talk that leads nowhere.

  1. CALA Emprende

    From idea to business

For an idea, a starting entrepreneur or a new business: formalizing in Texas, defining customer and model, costs and pricing, marketing, sales, basic finance and a 90-day plan.

  2. CALA Crece

    From business to growth

For the business that already sells: cash flow, sales, marketing, operations, customer service, artificial intelligence, access to capital, leadership and goals.

  3. CALA Conecta

    From growth to new opportunities

For the established business: business-to-business sales, certifications, corporate procurement, contract readiness, capital, negotiation and alliances.

  4. CALA Lidera

    From growth to leadership

For the consolidated business owner and the corporate: talent development, innovation, trends, succession, supplier diversity and strategic alliances.

  5. CALA Orienta

When you don't know who to ask

A twenty to thirty minute appointment to identify what you need and connect you with the right accountant, attorney, bank or program. Offered on a limited basis, according to the Chamber's capacity.

The first year

What's coming, with public goals.

A chamber that's starting can't promise track record. It can do something better: tell you exactly what it will build and when, so you can measure it.

  1. Launch and first Charter Members

The start of the founding roster and the first workshops. Each date is posted on the events calendar once it is confirmed.

  2. First public event

Fifty attendees, the first community photo, and the mailing list everything else starts from.

  3. The first fifty members

The threshold at which the State of Texas recognizes a chamber as real. Whoever joins before that number is a founding member of the roster.

  4. Supplier certification

Start knocking on the doors of corporate diverse-supplier programs. This is where membership starts returning real money.

  5. Annual gala and first assembly

The event that defines a chamber, and the assembly where members elect their own board seats for the first time.

Contact

The first ones write what this chamber will be.

Then two hundred will come, and then five hundred, and by then the rules will already be set. If your business is going to be here anyway, it's worth being here while it's still being decided.

Tell us what your business does and which level fits you. We'll reply with what's included, how payment works and when the next gathering is.
