Why we exist

Why was CALA born?

CALA was born to answer a need among Latino business owners and entrepreneurs in Texas: to have a Chamber of Commerce where they can connect, join forces, get trained and grow in their own language.

Because when we connect our businesses, we all move forward.

What you get

Seven things your membership puts in your hands.

01

A voice without permission

The directory, the stage, the newsletter and the expo exist so you can say what you do. Nobody will silence you. It's written in Article 2.4 as a right, not a courtesy.

02

Business among members

The real value of a chamber is in the referrals members give each other, not in the big events. Offering your products to fellow members is a membership right, on equal terms for everyone.

03

Training in your language

How to invoice in Texas, how to go from informal to formal, how to bill a corporation, how to keep your books. In Spanish, with no translation in between and without getting lost mid-class.

04

Borrowed credibility

"Chamber member" on your website and your quote carries weight, especially with the client who doesn't know you yet and is deciding whether to trust you.

Membership

Four levels. One single vote for everyone.

Join in 2026 and the rest of the year is on us: your membership runs from the day you pay until December 31, 2027. The sooner you join, the more months you get free.

Whoever pays more gets more visibility, not more power. That sentence is in the bylaws and it's the line that separates a chamber from a club where the insiders serve themselves first.

Silver

For entrepreneurs

Visibility, education and connections.

$150 per year

  • Logo and presence on the Chamber website
  • Promotion on the Chamber's Facebook, 4 times a year (once a quarter)
  • Monthly networking — 12 opportunities a year
  • Monthly workshop — up to 6 free a year
  • One-minute pitch before the members
  • 10% off the Annual Gala ticket

Gold

  • Business interview on YouTube, once a year
  • Instagram Live interview
  • 15% off the Annual Gala ticket
  • Priority as a panelist and exhibitor at Chamber events
  • 15% off in the digital magazine

Strategic partner

Platinum

For established businesses

Positioning, recognition and institutional presence.

$1,000 per year

  • Everything in Gold
  • 10-minute stage presentation, once a year
  • 20% off the Annual Gala ticket
  • Recognition as a Strategic Partner of the Chamber
  • Priority on sponsorship and exhibition opportunities
  • Free basic booth at the annual Expo Fair
  • Private executive gathering, twice a year
  • Quarter page in the digital magazine

Diamond

For corporate partners

Maximum visibility and corporate presence.

$5,000 or more per year

  • Everything in Platinum
  • 15-minute stage presentation
  • Two YouTube interviews a year
  • 30% off a table at the Annual Gala
  • Printed banner and brand presence at events
  • Half page in the Chamber magazine
  • Free premium space at the annual Expo
  • Private executive gathering, 4 times a year
  • An extra 15% off every Chamber service —workshops and any other we publish— on top of the member discount

Membership lasts twelve months from payment; anyone who joins in 2026 is active from the day they pay until December 31, 2027. It lapses for non-payment sixty days past due, or by written resignation. There is also an honorary membership, with no dues, granted by the board as recognition.

Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond are the trade names of the four classes in Article 2.2 of the bylaws: Entrepreneur, Small Business, Established Business and Corporate Partner. Prices in dollars, per year. The board may adjust them by resolution, with at least thirty days' notice to members.

Launch period

Through December 31, 2026

CALA Charter Member 2026

Whoever joins during the 2026 launch period receives a distinction that cannot be earned later: having been in the founding group of business owners who backed the birth of this Chamber.

  • CALA Charter Member 2026 distinction and certificate of recognition
  • Charter Member identification in the member directory
  • Recognition at an official Chamber activity
  • The distinction is kept under the membership conditions

The distinction does not replace the membership level: it is added to Silver, Gold, Platinum or Diamond.

Workshops and events, on the calendar

Every workshop and meeting is posted with its date on the events calendar. What is there is what is scheduled.

The first ones write what this chamber will be.

Then two hundred will come, and then five hundred, and by then the rules will already be set. If your business is going to be here anyway, it's worth being here while it's still being decided.

Tell us what your business does and which level fits you. We'll reply with what's included, how payment works and when the next gathering is.
